Funny homemade decor find...

So my grams, who is extremely talented at decorating, gift wrapping and all things Martha Stewart, went to senior living last year. When we were cleaning out her house and getting rid of stuff she didn't want to take with her, she gave me a box or ornaments. Well, I decided to give them to my friend who is having her first Xmas tree with her four-year-old daughter this year and doesn't have any ornaments yet. But I thought I'd look through them, just to see if there were any special ones I wanted to keep.

As I'm going through the box I find something that's like this little box, only there's an angel on the top of the box - then I realize it's a box of matches! Now, I have never seen a decorated Xmas box of matches - so leave it to my grams - that in itself made me crack up. That woman would decorate anything. Then I thought - thank God I went through these - I was going to wrap them and give them to my friend's daughter to open as a gift! "Here you go, honey, how about some holiday matches to decorate with?" LOL :lol:

Yeah, your friend prolly wouldn't want her kid playing with matches, even if they are Christmassy... :lol:
