I am hoping that some of you may have suggestions for games/activities for adults to do at Christmas parties?

I am planning my Avon Christmas party for November - maybe a bit early, but I am thinking about it - and I'd like to have activities/games for some prizes that are Christmas related...Any ideas? :D

Well I can help out on this subject! I visit tons of sites and I'll find you some good ideas...
One though..
Give out candy cane necklaces to all your guests as they arrive to your party. Tell them that a certain word is forbidden... it can be anything like "Christmas" or "Santa" or what ever you choose. If you get caught saying the forbidden word you have to give the person who catches you your necklace. At the end of the party, who ever has the most necklaces wins a prize.

That's a cute one for home, too! :)

My site has some games that might help you. Go to www.geocities.com/customsofchristmas/games.html. The logic puzzles would not be good for parties, but the others might.

Those are some great ideas, thank you! :)

I think I like the guess the carols game the best. Those ones are pretty hard! :o

Yeah, even I had trouble with some of them. But I've also learned that whenever I see the alphabet that the answer is bound to be "Noel."

at our annual party at church.we have 5 gifts...and everyone takes a ticket number..and we have a bag filled with the other end of the numbers..so as they are called out..the person picks which gift they want..now as the numbers are pciked..they choose whcih one they want..no one gets to keep the gift..they are passed around.until the last 5 numbers are called.they get to keep the gifts..but we use cheap dollar store gifts.nothing expsensive...its fun...

Bring an ornament party - everyone has to bring a unique, creative, unusual or funny ornament to decorate your tree. Tell people to think outside the box, make stuff homemade, etc. The host selects either one winner for his fave ornament who gets a small prize, or gives prizes in categories: funniest, prettiest, etcs. One time we did this and the results were really hilarious. I think the most original was a naked Barbie on a string. Still cracks me up to this day...

Sure, go to http://www.creative-party-themes.com/minute-to-win-it-party.html
for some ideas of how to do it.

We did a Christmas themed one at our party and copied some of the ones done during that time, like moving Christmas ornaments from one side of the room to the other using the cardboard from rapping paper.
