It turned chilly a few days ago after after having a warm snap... had to turn the heater back on. I feel like I should be gettin my fall decoration out instead of doing spring cleaning. Mother Nature needs to stop teasing like this.

Yeah, this week in Louisiana the lows got into the 40's and the highs only got to the upper 70's. This past Saturday, the high only got to around 69! But, in the morning when I got up (I'm up as the sun rises), I grab my coffee, step out on the back patio, and can instantly feel Christmas season approaching... as if it were the end of September, or October. Down here, it starts to get cooler by October. But it was a nice, crisp, quiet morning alone with my hot cup of joe, and it felt very much like that time of year.

I am with you here. Autumn is the best time of the year but Im so looking forward to a long camping season and VACATION!! So Im not gonna rush it this year. Of course I say this in April when its in the 80's. Not 115!!

Cool by October? Normally its still hotter than you know where here on Halloween. I sure hope it will be nice this year. But when I had to crank the heat back on last weekend I swear I could smell my Christmas tree :lol:

I popped in an orange spice tart in my tart warmer and watched Home Alone 2 the other day whenit was cold, raw and rainy. :)

It would be a warmer here if it would just stop raining! I mean April showers is one thing, but this is just silly. See this is why I prefer the Autumn; sensible weather. Warm, sunny days and crisp nights at least until you get well into November.
