    I am heartbroken. 🙁

I have a tree I got off Freecycle probably close to 10 years ago. Either 2007 or 2008. Its a very rustic looking tree, has a burlap wrapped base and everyone here has seen me talking about it. It is the tree I do for my husband every year. Hunting and fishing themed.

Well, I just pulled it out. I knew it was getting older, starting to get a little more fragile over the past few years but just now after trying to shape it, branches are just breaking off in my hands. I might be able to keep it around this year but I wont hang anything on it. But I cant imagine getting rid of it. Yes, I am one of “those” sentimental people. So many years and so many stories about this little tree. What do I do? I cant imagine tossing it after this year.

Is there a land of broken trees like the land of misfit toys?

    🙁
