The Little Book of Christmas Joys

My sis gave me this book a bunch of years ago, but I do love to read it - it has all these ideas of things to do to enjoy the season:

-hang an ornament from your car's rear view mirror
-put something Xmas scented in your car
-go to see a small town Xmas parade
    -wear red pajamas
-wish everyone you see a merry christmas
-take a basket of goodies to a grumpy neighbor
-take a holiday photo in the same spot every year
-fill the house with the scent of cloves, orange peel, cinnamon spice
-take a basket of goodies to the local fire and police stations
-try one new recipe and one new decorating idea
    - enjoy a couple of meals illuminated only by the Xmas tree

and so many more. I do at least a few of them every year and when I'm feeling blue for some reason, I open the book and it makes me feel childlike about Xmas.

hmmmm...thinking about some of these - need to put an ornament in the car rear view mirror and get a cinnamon scented hanger for the car...
